General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Independence as a Distributor
Diehl Trading, operator of diehloptics.ch, is an independent reseller (distributor) of Vector Optics brand products in Switzerland.
All products offered are sold in its own name and on its own account.
2. Offer
The products actually delivered may, in individual cases, deviate slightly from the images and descriptions shown in the online shop. Price, text, and image errors are expressly reserved. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF), including 8.1% VAT, but excluding shipping costs, unless otherwise stated.
3. Conclusion of Contract
By submitting an order and its acceptance by Diehl Trading, a binding purchase agreement for the ordered goods is concluded. Acceptance occurs through an order confirmation via email or postal service.
By placing the order, the customer accepts these GTC.
4. Delivery Conditions
The delivery times for individual products are stated directly with the respective product.
Orders containing items with different delivery times will generally be delivered as a single shipment.
All delivery times are non-binding. Any liability for damages due to delayed delivery or unavailability on the part of the manufacturer or supplier is expressly excluded.
If an item is no longer available, Diehl Trading may withdraw from the contract. Prepaid amounts will be credited. Shipping and cash-on-delivery fees are not refundable.
No liability is assumed for damages to persons or property caused by the use of the delivered items.
Upon handover of the shipment to the transport service provider, the benefit and risk pass to the buyer.
Diehl Trading is not liable for delays, loss, or damage during transport.
5. Retention of Title & Dunning Process
The delivered goods remain the property of Diehl Trading until full payment has been received.
The invoice amount is due upon completion of the order.
If payment is not made within 14 days, the customer is in default. For authorities and business customers, the payment period for purchases on account is 10 days.
Outstanding claims can be enforced through legal action. An annual default interest rate of 5% applies.
Orders sent cash on delivery and not collected by the customer are considered not accepted. A flat-rate compensation of CHF 40.– will be charged for the incurred expenses, in addition to the shipping costs.
6. Purchase on Account
In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), we offer purchase on account. Payment is made directly to Klarna within 30 days. Klarna conducts a credit check during the order process. If this is negatively assessed, purchase on account cannot be offered. The claim is assigned to Klarna; payment can only be made to Klarna to discharge the debt.

7. Warranty
Diehl Trading grants the customer the legally prescribed warranty of two years from the delivery of the goods. This warranty covers defects that already existed at the time of handover.
Furthermore, the Vector Optics brand offers an official manufacturer's warranty of 5 years on many products, and in some cases, a lifetime warranty. Diehl Trading is not a party to this manufacturer's warranty and handles or reviews corresponding claims on a voluntary goodwill basis. In case of doubt regarding the manufacturer's warranty, the customer should contact Vector Optics directly or the contact points listed on their website. 8. Withdrawal / Return
Withdrawal from the purchase contract, as well as return or reshipment of the ordered goods, is generally excluded. By placing an order, the customer enters into a legally binding purchase agreement, obligating them to accept and pay for the ordered products.
Diehl Trading reserves the right, in exceptional cases and at its own discretion, to grant a return of products on a voluntary goodwill basis. Such a withdrawal always requires prior, express consent from Diehl Trading. A return without prior contact and approval will not be accepted.
9. International Deliveries
For deliveries abroad, additional fees (customs, import duties, etc.) may be levied by the respective recipient country. These are to be borne by the recipient.
Diehl Trading has no influence on the amount of these fees and assumes no liability for delays or costs associated with customs clearance.
10. Data Protection
Personal data transmitted by the customer will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of the contract.
Diehl Trading reserves the right to use customer data internally for its own marketing purposes (e.g., email newsletters).

11. Copyright
All content on this website – in particular texts, images, logos, and graphics – is subject to copyright.
The use or reproduction – even in excerpts – requires the written consent of Diehl Trading.
Violations will be prosecuted under civil and criminal law.
Individual content (e.g., product images, technical data, or brand names) may be subject to third-party copyright.
12. Jurisdiction
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is the business domicile of Diehl Trading in St. Gallen (SG).
Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
13. Final Provisions
Diehl Trading reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time.
